"Embrace the Adventure: Today's The Day, We're Off to The Balkans!"

Writer: Matthew HaberstroMatthew Haberstro

Today is the day! We're packing our last items (almost forgot socks), checking our lists twice, and stepping out the door toward our six-week adventure in Bosnia, Serbia, and Romania. Words cannot express the exhilaration in our veins; we've been counting down the days, and now, it's finally here. CLUJ HERE WE COME!

This journey is more than just an exploration of these European jewels; it's a voyage into the heart of new experiences, friendships, and some shared self-discovery. It's a BOLD step into an unfamiliar world, and the thrill is now real! Can you imagine the countless connections that will bloom? The stories will weave into our hearts, the memories that will etch into our souls and be with us forever. We can, and it’s electrifying.

In the spirit of Digimad, we are ready to embrace challenges head-on. Learning more of the local languages (despite the tongue-twisters that will trip us), savoring the regional cuisines (hello, Mici, Sarmale, and Mămăligă!), or even just navigating the public transportation systems, every step will be a stride outside our comfort zones.

The cherry on top of it all? Squeezing in six weeks' worth of essentials into a cabin bag-sized suitcase while leaving enough space for the beautiful keepsakes we will pick up along the way, it's been a game of 3D Tetris! Space-saving bags from Amazon were super helpful! But every packed item is a step closer to our adventure. I've loaded my secret weapon: Beard Butter, and we'll stop to pick up some Liquid Death to drink before the airport; all should be good to go!

We are beyond grateful for the Digimad community's boundless enthusiasm and support. Stay tuned for regular updates, stories, and snapshots of our adventure. If you haven't already, join our e-list (hop onto our homepage for the link) and join us on this incredible journey.

Until next time, seize the day, embrace the adventure, and start living your dreams!

See you there.

Matt and Joe

P.S. We got some feedback about adding pictures to the blog posts? What do you think? Do you want more? Less? These are perfect?!
